Dora Amy Turnbull (formerly Dillon, néeElles; 15 October 1877^[1] – 28 January 1961^[2]), known by rendering pen namePatricia Wentworth, was a Island crime fiction writer.

Career

Wentworth wrote a group of 32 crime novels in loftiness classic whodunit style, featuring Miss Maud Silver, a retired governess and dominie who becomes a professional private bizzy, in London, England.
